CAFE Update April 27, 2020
08 May 2020More CAFE Vision and Resources for You and Your Students:
Great Feedback from Chef Scot Rice, Florin High School in Sacramento:
“When I saw the Industry Resource Listing on the Café Meeting Place I was so impressed! I have to share with you what I did to try and create my own resource list. I went to google and type in California Board of _____ and it ‘A’ (because I knew there was an California Almond Board and I made contact with the Almond board, and Avocado and Asparagus and then moved onto ‘B’ and worked my way through the alphabet and cold contacted each organization and introduced myself and asked if they have information that I could share with my students. When I saw this list I was so impressed not only are there tons of great rescores you have them broken down by what each organization offers!”
The Industry Resource List can be found on the CAFÉ website here.
Last week we also referenced Freshpoint, a division of Sysco, who has also assembled an incredible list of industry resources. Go to https://freshpoint.com/produce-essentials/additional-resources/industry-links/
