The Crystal Conference
2019 marks the 15th annual CAFE Leadership Conference—which is the “Crystal Anniversary” Conference!
According to Wikipedia:
A crystal or crystalline solid is a solid material whose constituents (such as atoms, molecules, or ions) are arranged in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice that extends in all directions.
So let’s consider the significance of CAFE’s Crystal Conference:
- The Conference is a “solid” event which has never been known to disappoint its attendees. Why solid? It focuses on culinary education and culinary educators, particularly as they seek to keep up to date with trends in their industry AND keep up to date with their instructional skills. Each a big task: That’s why the conference can’t be wishy-washy!
- Presentations are organized in a structure that gives attendees their biggest bang for the buck! You can choose which master class, which industry trends session and which educational best practices peer presentations to attend. That is structure. That promises choice.
- And finally, together we form a crystal lattice that extends in all directions. As educators, you influence tens of thousands of future foodservice employees every day, year, and decade you are involved with learning and improving. And yes, that is in all directions: restaurant chefs, on-site foodservice chefs, research chefs, personal chefs, educators, and many more.
