The Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Service presents its annual CAN DO Challenge recipe contest, open to non-commercial chefs, directors, managers, and RDs from K-12, Colleges and Universities, Business and Industry, Healthcare, and Military foodservice operations located in the U.S. Send us your crowd-pleasing smoothie, salad, sandwich, snack, main dish, baked good or dessert.

Complete the entry form and submit your innovative recipe and a clear photo illustrating how U.S. grown canned Bartlett pears are served. Entries will be judged on plate and flavor appeal, as well as the creative use of canned pears.

Three winners will receive cash prizes: first place $1,500, second place $1,000 and third place $500. Everyone who enters receives a $10 Amazon gift card. Entries will be accepted at eatcannedpears.com/can-do by midnight on May 1, 2026. Finalists will be announced by June 1, 2026, and prize winners will be announced by August 31, 2026.
