The yearly June gathering is the definitive place to network and explore the intersection between food and health for healthcare professionals, community members and foodservice professionals. A new one-day format for our annual thought-leaders event.
Where? Portland, Maine, hosted by Southern Maine Community College.
Topics to be discussed includes keynoters, panels, and small discussion groups on the Future of Culinary Arts Education.
This event has always been a must-attend conference since it gathers postsecondary deans and directors and allows them to discuss and hear ideas on topics that are facing them as they go forward.
Cost: $299.00 This includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and invitation to the opening night reception of the Leadership Conference which begins on the evening of June 22.

- The showing of the movie “A Fine Line” about the challenges facing women in the foodservice arena

This Award identifies culinary programs that either (1) teach or encourage entrepreneurship in their programming or (2) implement revenue-generation and cost savings into their programs.
Entrepreneurship can be a part of a program’s design and includes qualities of visionary leadership. Students can learn about innovation and ideation via their college or community. The Entrepreneurship Award will be judged by the quality of the design and applicability of the outreach whether it is project or concept based.
