CAFÉ Update November 14, 2022
14 November 2022There are three main components to the CAFÉ Deans and Directors Retreat and the annual Leadership Conference.
- The Deans and Directors Retreat is designed for postsecondary program leaders who are often dealing with similar challenges and who benefit from sharing solutions.
- The Industry Outreach Day is focused on trends happening in the foodservice world. Presentations are designed to keep you up to date because teachers don’t teach what they don’t know!
- The Educational Best Practices Day focuses on teacher-to-teacher sharing of methods which have proven effective. Topics range from metrics in the kitchen to inclusion challenges and more!
Themes for 2023 include
- RECRUITMENT
- RETENTION
- ADAPTATION AND
- TEACHING A TEACHER IDEAS!
Socially, we organize a pre-conference Meet and Greet, as well as, an opening night reception AND dynamite luncheons!
We also have an InfoFair where you can meet many industry supporters at their booths and discover the many resources that they have for you in the classroom.
AND we will have two pre-conference. hands-on master classes!
There is no other organization that focuses entirely on those involved with foodservice education! We look for speakers and sponsors and instructors who will help you with your role in the classroom.
