  • Galveston College’s innovative partnership with their food science department
  • Guilford Technical College’s successful program in Mobile Catering and Food Truck Management

The second panel will feature:

The program will have sessions on active learning methods as well as hearing from Chef Charles Carroll, former Culinary Olympics participant and former president of the World Association of Chefs (WACS).

WACS is offering free curriculum in sustainability which you will also hear about from Chef Chris Koetke.

There will be time in the agenda to talk about our programs’ challenges in relevance, value, and internal versus external changes.

And the opening night meet and greet will include a stroll on the river walk to a local restaurant and a boat tour of the river walk.
