Culinarians, college administrators, medical professionals, and public health advocates are invited to a conference on the healing power of food at Brightwater: A Center for the Study of Food in Bentonville, Ark., October 5-7, 2017.
Attendees will learn how: to prepare low-cost, delicious and culturally-relevant meals in Brightwater’s culinary center; patient outcomes are changed through food-focused programs at hospitals, family medical centers, retailers and community organizations; and how community colleges are poised to be the catalyst for dynamic change in linking culinary arts, nursing and allied health professions. Registration is $100.
