Art Institute of Colorado Culinary Graduates Receive Top Honors at Graduation

news1_nov10Three culinary graduates of The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Colorado were honored for their exemplary 4.0 grade-point averages at the Summer Quarter 2010 graduation, held at the Colorado Convention Center on Friday, September 24.

Ann Holland, Oonagh Dwyer and Christopher Adornetto were each presented with a medal for their achievement by Art Institute of Colorado President David Zorn during the graduation ceremony.

Ann Holland, food & beverage management graduate, has supported the school through her participation and service at numerous events, including the annual student scholarship fundraiser, Art Fun(d)! and Colorado Lamb Cook-Off. She hopes to return to the school to teach.

Oonagh Dwyer, baking & pastry alum, was recently named the Winter 2010 Culinary Student of the Quarter.

Christopher Adornetto, art of cooking graduate, will return to the school in fall quarter 2010 to pursue a diploma in baking & pastry.

The honorees were a part of a culinary graduating group of 19, and an overall graduating class of 97. As of September 2010, there are about 600 students studying at The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Colorado, attracting students locally, regionally and nationally.
